Endophthalmitis is a vision-threatening infection of the eye that requires a procedure referred to as a vitreal tap and inject.  A specimen is retrieved for culture and antibiotics are injected into the eye.  The video explains the concepts of this procedure and is produced by ophthalmologists at the University of Iowa.
