Pooneh Hendi Glascock, MD

Dr. Hendi is a senior Emergency Medicine resident at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She completed both her undergraduate training and a Master’s of Science at UCLA. Dr. Hendi received her medical degree (M.D.) at the University of Pittsburgh. She explored post-graduate training in OB/Gyn and Family Practice before finding her true love in Emergency Medicine. Throughout the course of medical school and residency, Dr. Hendi states “I have always been drawn to fields which are more procedurally oriented and hands on, yet I have struggled with using traditional texts and education to learn procedures accurately. Seeing a procedure performed properly – preferably many times – is the greatest way to learn.” Recognizing that other practitioners around the world desire access to procedure video, Dr. Hendi has joined EMpod Video with MedRounds to make this educational material readily available for the world, now and for future generations of medical professionals.
