Dr. Richard Liston completed his undergraduate degree at Grace College in Indiana. He earned his medical degree from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine where he received the Florence M. Strong award for Compassionate Patient Care. Dr. Liston completed his internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan and his residency at the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan where he studied pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus.
A gifted teacher and lecturer, Dr. Liston has received an award for his teaching and currently instructs ophthalmology residents from the Ohio State University School of Medicine. Dr. Liston is affiliated with several area hospitals including the Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, Kettering Medical Center and the Dayton VA hospital.
Dr. Liston specializes in General and Pediatric Ophthalmology, Adult Strabismus and Cataract Surgery.
