Morning aides do not help.

Nurses do a good job, but are so busy its hard to find time to talk with them. Often could not get antibiotic to dad on time, because have duty in eating area or just too busy with other patients. LVN and aids often don't get assistance with showers in time because they were so busy. I feel your nurses and LVN, aids are under staffed. This is my biggest complaint, and could be my reason for not recommending this facility to others.
I feel the eating area takes too long for patients to get food. Could use more workers in there as well. Food is seldom hot.

Snacks during the day would be a great idea ( if patient doesn't eat well at one of the meals).
Tha Gables would bring a small boy shake at 10 am and 2 pm everyday.

Activities does not participate. Not happy with smoking procedures and avalability.

Not going to stay here long as soon as came go home, Don't need to live here. Don't need nursing home.

Have not dealt with admin. Does not like smoke procedure.

Call light not answer on timely everything is for people could use hundred pounds so much for shower.

Don’t always do what’s on calendar.
I have things missing.

Insulin not done right, no diabetic tray.

Alarm goes off too after-smell of cigarette smoke when smoker go out and come in from smoke breaks. (Room by exit used for smoking area).
Not enough “hot” water when taking shower only seems to be warm.

More activities- more variety on food – be more open and not ignore him and his needs with smiling.

Unorganized few weren’t sure of her needs. Therapy seems to push when resident not comfortable, with level. Nursing are slow sometimes.
Nursing needs to be to pull from port social worker needs to be more informative on individual recommend for short term or long term not sure.
