Dr. Harry Aronowitz, DMD
Dr. Aronowitz has been a practicing orthodontist in Beverly Hills, California for the last 30 years. During his career, he has helped identify orthodontic issues for children and adults alike, creating treatment plans that correct problems and in turn, offer greater self-esteem and quality of life. Along with this role, he has established strong rapport with future orthodontists by serving as a Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Southern California in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics.
A Diplomate at the American Board of Orthodontics and the Chairman of Orthodontic Peer Review for the Los Angeles Dental Society, Dr. Aronowitz is also an Independent Medical Examiner for the State Board of Dental Examiners in California. In tandem with this, he is a founding member of the Western Prosthodontic Study Club. Dr. Aronowitz stays active as a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Los Angeles Dental Society.
I was that young boy that grew up wanting to be just like my dad. Louis Aronowitz was an old-fashioned dentist that had his office downstairs from our home in Brooklyn. While walking in the neighborhood we couldn't go far without one of his adoring patients stopping to chat. Often they would turn to me and tell me how much they loved my father.
I did go on to dental school where I was attracted to orthodontics because of the potential to create facial balance as well as beautiful smiles. I never completely left dental school as I guide young orthodontic residence as a part time clinical professor at USC. I enjoy problem solving in orthodontics in my role as the chairman of orthodontic peer review for the Los Angeles dental Society. However, my main focus is to educate my patients as they become partners in creating intelligent treatment options. This is accomplished by speaking plainly and openly to every patient, even if they are only 8 years old, on how together we can achieve our mutual goals.
