Utah Lions Eye Bank
The Utah Lions Eye Bank is a division of the Department of Ophthalmology at the John A. Moran Eye Center, University of Utah’s School of Medicine. The Utah Lions Eye Bank is dedicated to sight restoration and preservation through transplant, research, and education by consistently providing the highest quality ocular tissue while acting in the best interest of patients and donor families. The Utah Lions Eye Bank was founded in 1972 as a collaboration between the Utah Lions and the University of Utah Ophthalmologists. The eye bank operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and is an accredited member of the Eye Bank Association of America.
